The Maxum WSL Women's Pro Junior and NRMA Women's Surf Classic kicks are in countdown mode in Cronulla as the surrounding beachside is set to be consumed with a variety of festival activations and market stalls.

Over 15 market stalls will be staged in Dunningham Park over the course of the elite two-day event, which will run over the 19th and 20th September, 2015.

"The Maxum WSL Women's Pro Junior and NRMA Women's Surf Classic provide a family-friendly environment with a mix of different festival activations on land, coupled with some amazing surfing across a range of different disciplines. Together this forms a true celebration of women in the sport of surfing and something we're 100 percent behind," said Surfing NSW General Manager Luke Madden.

Over 32 women will compete in the WSL Pro Junior division, with a further 80 taking part in various women's disciplines in the NRMA Women's Surf Classic.

The WSL Australasia Pro Junior Qualifying Series (JQS) event made its debut two years ago and is currently the only strictly women's surfing event in Australia.

2015 is the seventh year the NRMA Women's Surf Classic has run at Cronulla.

The Maxum WSL Women's Pro Junior will crown the 2015 female Australian JQS champion as well as offering $2000 prize-money and vital WSL JQS rankings points for surfers vying to qualify for the forthcoming WSL Junior Championships.

On event days Maxum staff will be selling product at a heavily discounted price, some watches up to 70 percent off - exclusive to the event.

Maxum is also proud to be running the "Maxum Watch Hour Giveaway" again in 2015. Every hour from 8.00am to 4.00pm, a watch will be given away and announced over the PA system at the event site. To participate, see the Maxum stall on the day, fill out an entry form and go in the chance to be drawn out each hour.

The Maxum WSL Women's Pro Junior and NRMA Women's Surf Classic are proudly supported by NRMA, Maxum Watches, Mazda, Australian Skin Cancer Clinics, HIF, Carve Eyewear, Guzman and Gomez, Sutherland Shire Council, Kommunity Project, Tradies, Ohana Ocean Athletics, Cronulla Girls Boardriders, NSW Sport and Recreation, WSL Australasia and Surfing NSW.
