HALEIWA, Oahu, Hawaii (Monday, November 17, 2024) - The World Surf League (WSL) Hawaii/Tahiti Nui Qualifying Series (QS) and Regional Longboard QS contenders are back for The Hawaiian Islands HIC Haleiwa Pro, a men's and women's QS and Longboard Regional QS 1000, at the iconic lineup of Haleiwa beginning November 25 through December 7. Winter on the North Shore is in full swing after incredible conditions at The Hawaiian Islands Sunset Pro and now competitors are set for more with the women's QS season culmination set to conclude as the men's and women's longboard contingent join the action to decide their 2025 WSL Longboard Tour qualifiers.

The Hawaii Tourism Authority returns to support Hawaii's most talented up-and-coming athletes and another big opportunity on the famed North Shore for a third stop on the island of Oahu.
"After an amazing Sunset Pro, we're excited to see both QS and longboard local talent at Haleiwa," said Robin Erb, WSL VP, Tours and Events. "This event will decide our region's women qualifiers for the 2025 Challenger Series, plus men's and women's 2025 WSL Longboard Tour qualifiers. Mahalo to our partners HTA and HIC for returning to support this opportunity at one of the North Shore's best venues for competition."
This marks the first-ever WSL Longboard Regional Qualifying Series event held on Halewia's hallowed grounds to decide who qualifies for the 2025 WSL Longboard Tour.

As one of the North Shore's marquee venues, Haleiwa Ali'i is capable of testing both QS and Longboard QS contenders with a high-performance canvas and heavy barrels when conditions turn on. Hawaiian Island Creations (HIC) will once again support the event and athletes looking to compete among the world's best and qualify for the 2025 Challenger Series and 2025 World Longboard Tour.

The likes of defending event winner, and recently qualified CT rookie, Jackson Bunch (HAW) and reigning Hawaii/Tahiti Nui Regional QS victor Keala Tomoda-Bannert (HAW) are just a few of the heavy hitters ready to take on Haleiwa.
