Did you know that Kelly Slater (USA) plays golf? Currently ranked No. 4 on the men's CT rankings, Slater just finished at No. 4 in the 2015 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. -- @kellyslater: #CrowdSelfie on the 18th hole of the #PebbleBeachProAm today. Laura Enever (AUS) had reason to celebrate over the weekend after winning the Hurley Australian Open of Surfing at Manly Beach. On the way to her first event victory since 2010, she took down fellow Aussies Stephanie Gilmore and Tyler Wright, World No. 1 and No. 2 respectively. Huntington Beach's Kanoa Igarashi snagged his first event win of 2015 when he topped the podium at the Hurley Australian Open of Surfing Junior Tour event. Igarashi will be one of the key surfers to keep an eye on during the 2015 Qualifying Series season. -- @KanoaIgarashi: Umm wow what an epic week, beyond happy to win the first contest of the year! Californian Sage Erickson has been training hard for her return to the CT in 2015. Having made it all the way to the Quarterfinals of the Hurley Australian Open, it appears she's hungry for results -- but she's still a good sport in defeat. -- @sageerickson: Aint she the greatest, especially t o d a y! Hawaiian Malia Manuel finished equal fifth at the Hurley Australian Open. She'll need to break the curse of the Quarterfinals if she hopes to do better than No. 5 on the CT in 2015. Aussie Owen Wright didn't surf in the event at Manly Beach, opting instead to prepare himself for the Gold Coast.
