The best moments from this year's World Championship Tour (WCT) grande finale and World Title showdown are coming to U.S. television. A recap of the Billabong Pipe Masters will air on ABC's World of X Games Saturday, January 3, at 2 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT and will feature all the highlights from the last event of the season.
The event in Hawaii marked the conclusion of a historic season for men's elite surfing. Pipe, the iconic break on Oahu's North Shore, set the stage for intense matchups and the crowning of the first-ever Brazilian World Champion. With a runner-up finish, Gabriel Medina (BRA) brought home the biggest prize in professional surfing.

The final event also saw Julian Wilson (AUS) win his first event of the season. Up until the Pipe Masters, Wilson's best result in 2014 was third place at the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach in April. His performance in the Pipe Final included two nine-point rides, giving him a narrow victory over Medina, who had scored a Perfect 10 to open. Wilson's victory at Pipe also cemented his Vans Triple Crown of Surfing victory.
