Jadson Andre (BRA) was the first to break into the nine-point range on Day 2 when he earned a 9.00 claimed in Round 2.
Filipe Toledo (BRA) hit one of the biggest aerial maneuvers of the Hurley Pro when he lifted above the lip for a 9.83. The ride ultimately won the Innovation Award.
Adam Mellling belted a 9.17 on his opening wave in Round 2.
Adrian Buchan (AUS) solidified his Round 3 win over Nat Young (USA) with a 9.43.
Mick Fanning (AUS) earned a 9.07 in his Round 4 heat.
Gabriel Medina (BRA) notched a 9.63 in the opening heat of Round 4.
Miguel Pupo (BRA) turned up the heat in Round 4 when he notched an early 9.10.
John John Florence (HAW) showed off an arsenal of progressive maneuvers for a 9.63 in Round 4.
Florence notched a second nine -- a 9.10 -- in Round 4 with plenty of time still on the clock.
