Excellent showcases from Italo Ferreira and Filipe Toledo pushed the standard before Leonardo Fioravanti found his fire to post an event-best 8.33. Plus, Griffin Colapinto regained his form with an electric showing to start his surge toward a second CT win in El Salvador. The women got underway with Molly Picklum taking control of her debut, but it was Gabriela Bryan who took over alongside Bettylou Sakura Johnson and Lakey Peterson. With Elimination Rounds locked in the heat is about to start cranking at Punta Roca's cobblestones.
