CHAMBRE D'AMOUR, Anglet / France (Thursday, September 12, 2024) - The World Surf League (WSL) Specialty Event, the Caraïbos Surf de Nuit Anglet presented by Rip Curl returns to the Chambre d'Amour beach breaks in Anglet this summer. From fun in the sun, to lighting up the night, it's an action-packed surfing soirée with a long history on the golden sands of the picturesque Basque town.
Once the sun goes down, the real fun starts with Action Glow's bright and colourful LEDs laminated on the competitors' surfboards and big, glowing balloons light the arena. DJs provide the music and crowds get to enjoy a truly spectacular atmosphere, while those around the world can tune in to watch the live webcast and enjoy the show.
This Specialty Event features a team-format, with six mixed teams of two surfers each. Two qualifying heats for women and men will determine the team's total and the best three teams will advance to the Final.
The Final will see all three teams compete in the same heat, and each surfer's top wave score will count towards their team total to determine the winners. The prize money will be donated to the team's non-profit organization of their choice, making this event even more special.

Team Anglet: Pauline Ado & Romain Laulhe, supporting Summits of my Heart
Team Soöruz: Nahia Milhau & Jorgann Couzinet, supporting Water Family
Team Quiksilver Roxy: Hina-Maria Conradi & Dylan Donegan dos Santos, supporting Keep A Breast
Team Billabong: Aelan Vaast & Sam Piter supporting Coral Gardeners
The Caraïbos Surf de Nuit Anglet presented by Rip Curl is set to run on Friday, September 13, 2024 weather permitting with Saturday, September 14, 2024 as a backup depending on the conditions.
