An all-out battle ensued for the women's 2024 World Title going to the final, best of three bouts with reigning WSL Champion Caroline Marks facing No. 1 seed Caitlin Simmers. Marks earned a massive win in their first duel before Simmers posted a WSL Finals best, 18.37 heat total to push the ante into a third fight. Simmers continued to surge and blasted an excellent 8.33 to all but secure a maiden World Title as Marks didn't get a final opportunity to answer.
