Marco Mignot's show-stopping performance boasted an event-best, 18.24 heat total to set a new standard alongside showings from Mateus Herdy, Jett Schilling, Mikey McDonagh, and many elite contenders. But, scattered upsets ensued as competition bid adieu to Southern California hopefuls and Challenger Series' upper-tier competitors looking to make their move toward CT qualification. Now, an all-important Round of 32 bout awaits with the women returning to the lineup in what could be another macking day of Huntington Beach conditions.
