World Title Threats Overcome Elimination Scares, Newcomers Make Their Move - 805 Post Show Day 2

The world's best longboarders returned to the iconic Huntington Beach lineup and battled to keep their hopes of history alive in Elimination Round bouts. Defending event victor Kelis Kaleopa'a kicked the day off in terrific form to continue her surge toward a three-peat as reigning WSL Longboard Champion Kai Sallas thrived under pressure against a wildcard threat. Tully White's last-minute magic sent her into the Round of 16 alongside impressive showings from Avalon Gall and 2024 rookie Natalia Wunderlich. Plus, Longboard Tour vets Ben Skinner and Taka Inoue thrive with excellent showings in the face of elimination alongside newcomers Chase Lieder making his statement hrough elimination woes and now looks to keep their momentum alive when competition resumes.
