COOLANGATTA, QLD/AUS (Friday January 21, 2022) - Boost Mobile is set to continue its strong affiliation with professional surfing in 2022, announcing today that it is doubling down as the official telecommunications category partner of the World Surf League in Australia as well as adding title sponsorship of the Challenger Series season opener on the Gold Coast.
As well as its naming rights sponsorship of the Boost Mobile Gold Coast Pro, its partnership will include the two Championship Tour events, as well as the Sydney Surf Pro CS event at Manly.

The contract extension will see many benefits for Boost Mobile including on-site presence and activations at events in Sydney, the Gold Coast, Bells Beach and Margaret River. The brand will continue to enjoy broadcast integration including ‘The Boost Mobile Stay Connected Call' where surfing icons call-in to chat with the commentary team, along with the ‘Boost Mobile Wave of The Day' which is awarded to the highest scoring ride of each day of competition in the daily post show.

Along with WSL events, Boost Mobile also supports several WSL elite competitors including perennial title threat Sally Fitzgibbons, 2021 CT Rookie and title hopeful Jack Robinson and 2021 Rookie of the Year Morgan Cibilic. Morgan is looking forward to another epic year on tour with the support of Boost Mobile while Sally hopes to be battling at the top for a World title in 2022.
