In 2015, the WSL hosted an invitational women's event at Pipeline. Over the course of the 30-minute heat, Carissa Moore, Keala Kennelly, Tatiana Weston-Webb, and Courtney Conlogue put on a show that would leave most people wondering why this wasn't for tour points. Carissa made an especially strong case for the women by logging two 9-point rides and a throw away 8. Proving once again that when given the chance, Carissa and the women on tour are more than capable of putting on a show at Pipeline.
