With some extra time on his hands to enjoy the ocean out his backdoor, John John Florence has been keeping himself entertained lately by adopting the "ride anything" mantra.
In his new YouTube drop, John replaces the foil on his Pyzel-shaped foil board with a standard surfboard fin. He jokingly calls it an "asymmetrical single fin foil board."
Whatever you call it, he rips it. Short, thick and wide with a full nose, it's definitely not as responsive as his go-to shorty, but in the playful Ehukai wedges he has absolutely no problem wrapping turns and punting airs on it.
Experimenting with different board design has a way of opening up new lines and new approaches, and as demonstrated by John, it helps make every session a fun one.
