Kanoa Igarashi learned to surf under the watchful eyes of Huntington Beach locals. Through the years he's become the pride of the Pier crew. On Sunday, some fifteen years after learning how to surf in the same lineup, Igarashi's biggest dreams came true when he finally captured his first Vans US Open of Surfing title.
