El segundo día de competencia del Jeep Pro y Rip curl Pro 2017 marco un hito en la historia de la mítica playa, con grandes actuaciones de Brasileros y Peruanos quienes deslumbraron a los espectadores con cada maniobra en las imponentes olas de Peñascal.
Hoy fue turno de los varones quienes demostraron porque son los mejores de la región luchando palmo a palmo con maniobras impresionantes, tubos espontáneos y olas de gran tamaño en Peñascal. Con scores de 9 puntos (Tomas Tudela (PER) y Samuel Igo De Souza (BRA)) y combinaciones de 16.50, fueron los representantes de Brasil y Perú quienes se impusieron por encima de competidores provenientes de países como USA, CHILE, COSTA RICA, ECUADOR, ARGENTINA, FRANCIA, etc.
A inicios de la segunda ronda Miguel Tudela (PER) y Victor Ferreira (BRA) ya daban señales de que un nuevo clásico en el surf estaba por venir y no fue para menos, los puntajes fluctuaban desde los 7 hasta los 9 puntos, luego en los siguientes heats, atletas como Alonso Correa (PER) 8 puntos, Joaquin del Castillo (PER) 7.60 puntos , Joao Chianca (BRA) 7.50 puntos y Raoni Monteiro (BRA) 7.25, dieron cuenta que vienen por todo en esta edición que cada día se pone mas emocionante. Mañana se reanuda la competencia desde las 8:00 am con las series finales de la categoría OPEN y DAMAS donde coronaremos a los nuevos campeones de este importante evento.
