Kanoa Igarashi defended his hometown surf with another win at the QS1000 Shoe City Pro in Huntington Beach. Being one of the first Qualifying Series (QS) events on the 2017 schedule, the QS1000 serves as a great warmup event for Samsung Galaxy Championship Tour (CT) stars and would-be qualifiers to spar with high-caliber talent. This year's event was arguably one of the best with fun surf pumping at HB's Southside Pier all weekend.
