Italo Ferreira refused Round Two with a Round One victory over Sebastian Zietz and Dusty Payne. More than halfway through the heat, Ferreira was sitting in last place. He quickly turned things around with a full-rotation frontside reverse, earning an 8.67. He later backed up his air with another solid score (7.23) to put the Hawaiians against the ropes.
