In her Round Four heat at the Cascais Women's Pro, Hawaiian Coco Ho made the most of lefthander to earn a 5.33. It wasn't much, but it was enough. She went on to take down Lakey Peterson, and will face fellow North Shore native Carissa Moore in the Quarters when the women's contest resumes. Ho could use a good result in Portugal: She is currently No. 15 on the CT rankings and No. 9 on the QS, precarious places for requalification.
"It's going to be tough in the Quarterfinals against Carissa because she's definitely always on," Ho said after her win. "We've had a really fun heat today so hopefully we'll get to do that again."
