Kelly Slater has had a rough run in 2016, but he certainly got his groove back in Tahiti. The 44-year-old 11-time world champ ripped his way into the Final at the Billabong Pro Tahiti for the seventh time, and he did so averaging a record 18.29 points per heat. He bagged four 10-point rides, won his fifth Teahupo'o event, and ended up earning career victory No. 55.
All hail the king.
