Pro Anglet, starting tomorrow at the iconic Chambre d'Amour.
A men's and women's QS1,500, the Pro Anglet will host the best European professional surfers as well as a flurry of international QS campaigners for a week of high performance surfing on the beautiful Basque coastline of Anglet.
"I'm super happy to be back surfing a professional event here in Anglet," Ado said. "All the conditions are right to have a great event, waves look good for the week and surfers from all-over the World have come here to compete."
"Winning in Lacanau was extraordinary," Huscenot added. "We are lucky to have events at home in France and I have a lot of good memories in Anglet, that was one of my first victories as a grom."
Official forecaster of the event, Surf Report calls for a West / North-West groundswell producing four-to-five foot waves on Tuesday with offshore winds in the morning, onshore breeze in the afternoon switching back offshore before sunset.
The city of Anglet and the World Surf League have associated to produce the inaugural edition of the Pro Anglet, bringing surfing back to its rightful roots on the Basque coast of France's iconic South-West.

Event officials have convened surfers to a 7:30AM call on Day 1 Tuesday, which depending on conditions could see either of the men's or women's event start as early at 8AM.
