Last year, he lit up the Billabong Pro Tahiti after landing there with less momentum than he has now and left with a Quarterfinal finish. He backed that up by earning a Quarterfinal finish in Fiji. Jeremy Flores (FRA) suffered a serious freesurf injury and was forced to miss the event in South Africa. He missed the event in Tahiti last year due to a league suspension, but the four times he competed prior to 2014 Flores made it to Round 4 or better. His ability to compete in this year's contest is still up in the air, but he's giving it everything he's got. -- @floresjeremy: Heading to Tahiti to try it out, i will be deciding there if i will surf in The event or not, depending on The swells i guess, wearing a helmet....
