Frederico Morais (PRT) goes above the lip for a 9.03 in Round 1 of the Men's US Open of Surfing QS 10,000.

Adam Melling (AUS) went vertical for a 9.17 in the opening heat of Round 2 at the men's Vans US Open of Surfing. He added the nine-point ride to an already excellent 8.33 to win his heat and advance to Round 3.

Freddy Patacchia Jr. (HAW) launched a series of well-timed snaps for a 9.10 in Round 2 of the Vans US Open of Surfing.
