Punta de Lobos roared for the grand finale of the Quiksilver Ceremonial. Looking to start his year as reigning World Champion strong, Makuakai Rothman (HAW) went up against Cristian Merello (CHL), Ramon Navarro (CHL), Nic Lamb (USA), Grant Baker (ZAF) and Mark Mathews (AUS) in epic conditions at the infamous lefthander off the coast of Chile.
The first Semifinal heat of the Quiksilver Ceremonial featured Makuakai Rothman (HAW), Grant Baker (ZAF), Cristian Merello (CHL), Koa Rothman (HAW), Marcos Monteiro (BRA) and Mark Healey.

In the first heat of the 2015/2016 Big Wave Tour season Grant Baker (ZAF), Marcos Monteiro (BRA), Koa Rothman (HAW), Frank Solomon (ZAF), Federico Mekis (CHL) and Gabriel Villaran (PER) drop into monster waves at Chile's Punta de Lobos during Round 1 of the Quiksilver Ceremonial.
The battle at Punta de Lobos continues in Round 1, Heat 2 of the Quiksilver Ceremonial starring reigning Big Wave World Champion Makuakai Rothman (HAW), Mark Healey (HAW), wildcard Cristian Merello (CHL), Reinaldo Ibarra (CHL), Nathan Fletcher (USA) and Miguel Tudela (PER).
Round 1 of the Quiksilver Ceremonial continued in heavy conditions at Punta de Lobos as Nic Lamb (USA), Mark Mathews (AUS), Ramon Navarro (CHL), Fernando Zegers (CHL), Alex Gray (USA) and Natxo Gonzalez (EUK) kick of their season in Heat 3.
In the final bout of Round 1 at the Diego Medina (CHL), Carlos Burle (BRA), Josh Kerr (AUS), Damien Hobgood (USA), Jamie Sterling (HAW) and Anthony Tashnick (USA) charge the massive lefthander of Punta de Lobos.
