Hawaiian Mason Ho has signed a multiyear deal with iconic surf brand Rip Curl. Son of North Shore legend Michael Ho and brother to women's Championship Tour (CT) surfer Coco Ho (HAW), Mason will join Brazilian World Champ Gabriel Medina and three-time World Champ Mick Fanning on Rip Curl's team.

Currently tied at No. 16 on the Qualifying Series (QS) rankings, Ho has proven himself many times on the infamous waves of Oahu's North Shore, most recently placing second at the 2015 Volcom Pipe Pro QS3000 behind John John Florence (HAW).
Ho isn't the only surfer who inked a deal with Rip Curl in 2015. So far this year, Australian Owen Wright and legend Tom Curren (USA) also renewed business relationships with the surf company.
Ho had this to say on joining Rip Curl's team:
"I'm honored to join a company like Rip Curl with so much surfing history, which I've heard about since the day I was born," Mason said shortly after inking his new deal. "I'm really excited about this partnership and I'm going to do my best to represent the brand to my fullest.
"In this next chapter, I want to go on trips with Mick Fanning. He's an inspiration for me, and I'm ready to go find perfect waves with him," Mason added.
