On top of being the 2015/2016 Big Wave World Champ, Greg Long (San Clemente, California, USA) is a 2016 Surfline Best Overall Performance Award Nominee.

Here he takes off on one of the biggest waves ever ridden in a surfing contest and pulls right into a massive tube during the WSL's Pe'ahi Challenge at Jaws, Maui, Hawaii on December 6, 2015. The video was an entry in the Billabong Ride of the Year category of the 2016 WSL Big Wave Awards.
