Maui local Kai Lenny (Maui, Hawaii) is a 2016 Surfline Best Overall Performance Award Nominee.

In the above video Kai took a steep drop during the Big Wave Tour's Pe'ahi Challenge -- and caught it on his GoPro. The wave not only earned him a solid score, but also an impressive submission video for the GoPro Challenge Pe'ahi.
