Sophie turned it on at the MEO Rip Curl Pro Portugal presented by Corona's backup site, Mohle Leste, for the Opening Round on Day 2 to lock in the WR16 alongside World No. 1 Molly Picklum, who has just made the mid-season cut as she advances to the Round of 16. Luana Silva has been sent to the Elimination Round in the process.
