The 5x World Champion Carissa Moore has placed herself as the No. 1 seed in the WSL Final 5 for the third year in a row. With a runner-up finish at the 2022 Rip Curl WSL Finals, Carissa Moore entered the 2023 season with a new fire accumulating 9/10 Finals Day appearances. With three wins under her belt at Pipeline, Margaret River, and the Surf Ranch as she headed into the 8th stop of the season, she was able to clinch her spot in the WSL Final 5 for a third year in a row at the No. 1 seed during the VIVO Rio Pro.
