The surf was pumping all day at Supertubos on Monday, but some stormy weather forced officials to put the event on hold through the middle of the day. Fortunately for all involved the wait paid off, because the wind switched and the surf was groomed clean in the late afternoon. At 3:15 pm, Deputy Commissioner Travis Logie made the call to get the Quarterfinals of the MEO Rip Curl Pro underway, and it turned out to be a good one. The final four heats of the day turned into a tube-riding feast.
