Lower Trestles continued to deliver incredible waves as the Hurley Pro and Swatch Women's Pro continued through seventeen heats of competition. A few surprising performances offered redemption for some of the lower-ranked surfers on the Championship Tour including Sage Erickson (USA) and coach Glenn Hall (IRL).
